Show a Corner Ribbon on featured ClassiPress Ads

Tested on WordPress 4.2 & ClassiPress Version: 3.4.1

If you like to “highlight” your featured ads with a nice little corner Ribbon in the upper left corner, this is the tutorial you should continue reading. In a couple of minutes you will have all your featured ads looking like this:

You like the idea? Here we go:

We need to edit 1 php file and our style.css:

  • content-ad_listing.php
  • style.css

As usual, we don’t want to touch the original files from ClassiPress. So the first thing we do is upload a copy of the original content-ad_listing.php to your child theme folder! That one we start to edit. You can do it local our using your editor in your admin area => Appearance.

    I’m not able to put this code. I have entered the code in loop_ad_listing.php file but in classipress 3.2.2 there is no file for loop_featured.php… Please help… where should i put the code… :(

    I purchased your code but like Savera, I don’t have any loop_featured.php
    Can you provide some help or refund ?

      Please use instead of loop-featured.php the loop-popular.php file. The name has been changed by AppThemes. I have edited the articel now.
